This is a “Tapas Time!!! Around Spain” Special Edition.
In our second post in Malaga we visit a Chiringuito.
A ”Chiringuito” is a bar or restaurant, selling mainly drinks and Tapas provisional building, at a beach. Fish food is used to be served in this kind of establishments.
Jesus Gutierrez Chiringuito is a restaurant at Misericordia Beach in Malaga where you can taste “espetos” of fresh sea food while you´re listening live music (on weekend).
“Espeto” is a tradicional way of cooking freshly-caught sea fish, most often sardines but also sae bream or calamari, speared on a log flat stick and barbequed over a hot fire on the sand of a beach.
This time we have ordered vegetables, sweet tomatoes & tuna, clams, sardine “espetos” and a Sea Bream “Espeto”.
We drunk an amazing and fresh white wine from Rueda (Valladolid).
Jesus Gutierrez It´s a place to enjoy the moment.
Hope you enjoyed this chiringuito, its “espetos” and its people.
Don´t forget to visit Murcia, but if you can´t, Malaga could be a good option 😉
See you in our next post at Malaga fussion.
